Qualified in 1994 from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, London having completed a BSc in Biochemistry in 1991. Rotated through the specialities of emergency medicine, anaesthetics, ITU, obstetrics and psychiatry.
Moved to Hampshire to complete his general practice training and worked as a GP principal in Southampton before leaving to complete a postgraduate diploma in cardiology.
Worked as the CHD lead for Southampton PCT and has been involved with numerous local and regional groups responsible for the development of cardiology services in Hampshire.
Returned to GP partnership at Watercress Medical in 2009 and continues with his clinical cardiology work in Southampton. He writes regularly for GP publications, is a member of the Primary Care Cardiovascular Society and an accredited member of the British Society of Echocardiography.
Married with three children. Outside interests include cricket, running and motorsport.

Qualified in 2000 from Newcastle University before moving to London and rotating through posts in general medicine, surgery and A&E; at Lewisham Hospital.
Completed the three year GP Vocational Scheme based at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester. This involved rotations through obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, acute medicine and endocrinology, dermatology and rheumatology.
Attained the Membership of the Royal College of GP's (MRCGP) with distinction and post graduate diplomas in obstetrics and gynaecology, child health and family planning.
Joined the Watercress Medical Group in partnership in January 2006.
Married with twin daughters. Outside interests include watersports particularly sailing and skiing.
Dr Vithya Shanmuganathan
Qualified in 2003 from the Royal Free, London, before completing training at Exeter rotating through the specialities of ENT, psychiatry, A&E;, care of the elderly, paediatrics, vascular surgery, and obs & gynae.
Holds post-graduate qualification in obstetrics and gynaecology.
Became a Partner in Mansfield Park Surgery in June 2016.
Married with 2 children. Outside interests include lindy hop, and spending time with family & friends.

Qualified in 2003 from Sheffield University and rotated through general medicine and general surgery posts before moving to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital to do rotations in A&E;, psychiatry and Rehabilitation medicine. Then joined Core Medical training scheme rotating through Cardiology, Respiratory, Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Renal medicine, Stroke and Elderly care and Acute medicine and attained Membership for the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).
Completed her GP Vocational training in Bristol rotating through A&E;, Paediatrics, Eye casualty, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and sexual health. Attained membership for Royal College of General Practitioners (nMRCGP) and diplomas in Obstetrics and gynaecology and Family planning.
Moved to Winchester in 2009 and worked as a GP in Hampshire before joining the Watercress Medical Group in Partnership in 2017.
Married with 2 children. Outside interests include being outdoors, running, playing football with her children, skiing and bodyboarding. Teaches with the charity Little life Savers teaching children basic life-saving skills.
